On 28 October, the Kyiv Security Forum (KSF) will host a special event in Brussels entitled «Support Ukraine, Defend Europe», dedicated to the current security challenges facing Ukraine and its partners on the eve of winter.

Ukraine is entering yet another critical phase of the war. Russia is intensifying its attacks on Ukrainian cities and energy infrastructure. The latest strikes on Kyiv have once again demonstrated how urgent the decisions needed to protect people and preserve the resilience of the state are.

This will be the first high-level security event organised by the Kyiv Security Forum EU Office in Brussels. The Office has recently begun its work in Brussels, continuing the efforts of the Kyiv Security Forum to build Ukraine’s ties with international partners, which have been under way since 2007.

The KSF EU Office, Brussels will serve as a permanent platform for political and expert dialogue with the EU and NATO institutions, the governments of partner countries, parliaments, think tanks and civil society. The work of the KSF EU Office will focus on supporting the achievement of Ukraine’s key strategic objectives: victory over Russian aggression; accession to the European Union and NATO; post-war recovery and reconstruction; holding Russia accountable for its aggression and for compensation for the damage it has caused; and full participation in shaping Europe’s new defence architecture.

The Kyiv Security Forum (KSF), founded by the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Foundation ‘Open Ukraine’, is Ukraine’s leading international platform on issues of war and peace. KSF events bring together heads of state and government, politicians, diplomats, military commanders, experts, representatives of civil society and journalists.
